Letter to the campers

Challenge Cup Tournament Camping – May 15-18, 2026

TWe’re thrilled to offer camping again this year! After a lot of sweet talking, we’re happy to welcome teams back to the Farmers Institute grounds for the May Long Weekend. We were very close to losing the ability to rent this property because of last year’s issues, so let’s all work together to make this a positive experience. 

Camping Location: Farmers Institute, 351 Rainbow Road, Salt Spring Island
Check-In / Registration: Beer Gardens at the Main Field, 232 Rainbow Road, Salt Spring Island (under the yellow tent)

Dates & Price:

  • Friday, May 15, 3:00 PM – Monday, May 18, 11:00 AM

  • Flat rate for the weekend: $120 per person

Wristbands & Registration:

  • After booking, visit the Beer Gardens at the Main Field to register and pick up wristbands.

  • Wristbands must be worn at all times.

  • Local volunteers—other soccer players just like you—will be checking that all campers are registered.

Camping Rules:

  • Quiet time: 10:00 PM. Security will be on-site to manage noise.

  • Keep garbage and recycling separate; please use the designated bins and dumpsters.

  • The barn buildings are strictly off-limits.

  • Respect the space, clean up after yourself.

  • No pets allowed

A Friendly Reminder:

  • The price has increased from last year due to past misuse of the property. Respecting the grounds this year will help us ensure camping is available in the future.

  • If we see that the grounds are well taken care of we will reduce camping costs next year!

  • Let’s all be respectful and grateful—we want everyone to have a safe, fun, and memorable weekend!


Campers will. be assigned a spot on the field as this will allow us to keep track of who has paid as well as hopefully make teams and individuals more responsible and aware of how you leave your site.
